How The World Works By Daisy

Tornadoes can blow away lots of things and people should feel sad for people who have lost their homes and people in their family. Meteorologist (weather scientists) use satellites to monitor  the development and movement of storms over the open ocean. One of the biggest events in tornado history occurred on Tuesday, June 24th, 2003, when 67 tornadoes touched down in the state of South Dakota, and many more tornadoes touched down in surrounding states. Many of the tornadoes touched close to our homes in the Sioux Falls, SD, area.  As a result, friends, relatives and acquaintances had their lives changed forever by this catastrophic event.
